Rock Bottom Part of the Biggest Small Beer Collaboration Ever

ACBWAmerican Craft Beer Week 2016 is right around the corner, kicking off seven days of nationwide craft beer celebration and appreciation starting Monday, May 16th. And, coming together for the greatest union of all time, small and independent craft brewers across the country have created a very special beer in honor of ACBW. To #MakeSmallBeerBig during the celebratory week, the Biggest Small Beer Ever Made was produced by participating brewers in all 50 states using the same ingredients and recipe. Pittsburgh’s own Rock Bottom Brewery is a part of this collaboration, perhaps the biggest show of camaraderie among the nation’s craft beer industry ever seen.

The can that will house this special collaboration looks like a mini Stanley Cup with every participating brewery’s name etched on the aluminum cylinder. This represents the true rise of craft beer in America, how far things have come, and how much further they’re going to go because everyone is united against the “big guys.”

Oh, and speaking of the big guys…Budweiser wants to be known as ‘America’ for the summer. I think I speak for all of us when I say Budweiser can go fornicate themselves with a rusty icepick.

SIDE NOTE: Rock Bottom Pittsburgh just got a brand new Facebook Page! Click here and give it a Like.
