3rd Annual Rhythm and Brews Scheduled August 26th

The folks at Rivertowne Brewing are always looking for a good excuse to party and have established some great events to help us do the same throughout the year. Winter time brings on the Hibernation Party, spring kicks off with the Jahla Party, and summer winds down, as it will once again this August, with Rhythm and Brews. In other words, good times and good beers are always on the front burner at Rivertowne Brewing!

Rivertowne’s 3rd Annual Rhythm and Brews Craft Beer & Music Festival takes place Saturday, August 26th from 11:00am to 9:00pm at the Tall Trees Ampitheater in Monroeville. The all-day festival has evolved tremendously since its inaugural event in 2015 and will feature more beer, more breweries, and more activities to help you capture as many last-minute summertime memories as humanly possible.

When Rhythm and Brews was in the initial planning stages several years ago, Rivertowne CEO Christian Fyke envisioned an event where beer enthusiasts sample a variety of offerings from them and other participating breweries while enjoying local bands and supporting local businesses in the great outdoors. Combine all this with Rivertowne’s motto of providing a venue where great friends can meet and Rhythm and Brews officially came to life and has gotten stronger year after year.

Rhythm and Brews will feature several games to quench your thirst for competition, including giant beer pong and giant cornhole. Or, simply bring a lawn chair or blanket, grab a beer from your favorite brewery and bite from one of several food vendors, kick back, and enjoy one of the final days of summer!

And, let’s not forget: the music. As of this publication, Rivertowne has lined up Nacho Blues Band, Walkin’ Rosie, Decaffeinated Grapefruit, Tres Lads, and Grand Piano to take center stage throughout the day. More bands are expected to be added to the lineup soon.

This year’s Rhythm and Brews has two ticket options: Unlimited sampling tickets are $30 and General Admission tickets are only $10 with the option to purchase individual beer tickets on location if you’re just looking to have a beer or two. Rhythm and Brews is for all ages, so bring the family!
