Pizza Boy Debuts at Hal’s Bottle Shop Tonight

Pizza BoyEvery Thursday, Hal’s Bottle Shop in Ross Township puts a brewery center stage and allows craft beer enthusiasts to experience what they bring to the table. These breweries often provide samples of various beers in their portfolio and sometimes do tap takeovers that allow you to enjoy their offerings via pint. Bottle Shop Manager Danny Castriota runs one of the best bottle shop operations in town, built on a strong foundation of providing diverse choices, education, and strong customer service. Their dedication to bringing exciting, rare craft beer selection to Pittsburgh is evident with their open-to-everyone Rare Beer Club and makes them a destination that gets their hands on exciting product before anyone else.

Tonight is no exception.

The long-awaited arrival of Pizza Boy Brewing in the Pittsburgh market is finally upon us and Hal’s Bottle Shop will be hosting the city’s first Pizza Boy sampling event this evening. These beers are created at Al’s of Hampden and their offerings are available with other craft beer favorites as part of 100 taps paired with incredible food and specialty pizza at their 10,000 square-foot Enola, PA complex.

Four different drafts will be pouring at tonight’s event; three of them in the Bottle Shop and the fourth next door inside Hal’s Bar & Grill. The three drafts owning the taps in the Bottle Shop are Eternal Sunshine Dry-Hopped Sour, Murran River IPA, and Chocolate & Nuts Bock. On tap at the bar will be Hop Vision Amarillo Pale Ale. In addition, free samples will also be available so you can get to know what will be available from Pizza Boy’s lineup.

Pizza Boy will be distributed by Pittsburgh’s newest distributor, Steel City Beer Wholesalers. Be on the lookout for Pizza Boy on tap at your favorite craft beer destinations in the near future.
