Pig Iron Is Here!
After months of anticipation, Pittsburgh’s newest craft beer destination is now OPEN FOR BUSINESS!
Pig Iron Public House, located in Cranberry in the old Lone Star Steakhouse on Route 19, has officially opened their doors. This beautiful new establishment houses 66 taps with an incredibly strong devotion to local and regional beers. In addition, Pig Iron features local liquor for craft cocktails and locally-sourced food on their enticing dining menu.
If you are a fan of local beer, Pig Iron is a prime spot to try something from just about every brewery in our region. The concept laid out by Shawn, Tony, and Matt Lang, the three brothers who also own Steel City Sammiches and Twisted Jimmy’s in Indiana, PA, was designed to appeal to craft beer enthusiasts while maintaining a strong connection to beer born here in Pittsburgh. While other craft options will be available, local beers will hold a predominant spot in the Pig Iron tap program.
