Pittsburgh’s Craft Beer Spotlight Continues to Shine Bright
Pittsburgh’s craft beer scene continues to grow by the day and is capturing the hearts and minds of libations enthusiasts all over the region. New breweries opening their doors and established breweries from across the country making their wares available in Pittsburgh are spearheading a movement that is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
Last week, KDKA’s Heather Abraham released a report taking a look at the boom Pittsburgh, as well as Pennsylvania as a whole, is experiencing from a craft beer perspective. She features CoStar Brewing and The Brew Gentlemen, two breweries contributing to our city’s growth and success, as well as Dancing Gnome Brewery, a new brewery scheduled to open in the next couple months in Sharpsburg. Heather also put the spotlight on The Independent Brewing Company, one of the city’s hottest craft beer destinations that’s 100% dedicated to tapping local and regional craft beer only.
Local craft beer continues to move the needle and get enthusiasts excited. There’s plenty of reasons to love Pittsburgh these days, but the argument can be made the craft beer culture growing and evolving in these parts is leading the way.
