Great Lakes Presents: Pint Size Pub Tour

Great Lakes Brewing Company is celebrating their 30th Anniversary this year and the party is set to go all summer long. Since brewing their first beers in 1988, the Great Lakes brand has grown to become one of the most respected and recognized breweries in the world. With a solid portfolio of core beers including Commodore Perry, Turntable Pils, and Burning River, as well as exceptional seasonal releases such as Chillwave, Lake Erie Monster, and Nosferatu, Great Lakes is one of the trailblazing players in the craft beer world and continues to push its tradition of brewing quality beers forward.

Last month, I paid homage to a beer in the Great Lakes year-round rotation that was at the core of my craft beer affection: Eliot Ness. This award-winning Amber Lager was one of the first to leap out and grab me as I began exploring new beers over 12 years ago. Also, being a huge fan of The Untouchables, the name spoke to me as much as the liquid. Click here to get the full story.

Also mentioned in that feature was Great Lakes’ summer tour, dubbed Pint Size Pub. The main feature of the tour is a traveling version of the Great Lakes brewpub, located in Cleveland, Ohio. The Pint Size Pub website is officially live and sports an interactive map of where the tour is headed, as well as an opportunity to discover which Great Lakes beer is All Yours AND a chance to enter and win a VIP Brewery Experience from Great Lakes and Destination Cleveland!
