East End Brewing’s Strip District Taproom Is Here!
Several months of planning and a laundry list of hurdles relating to the opening of East End Brewing’s new taproom are about to become a distant memory as beers will once again be flowing in the Strip District. Their new space is ready and will pour its first pint today at 11:00am!
East End Brewing, in addition to several other businesses occupying the Pittsburgh Public Market, were forced to find new homes when the Market abruptly closed at the end of February 2016. East End’s new spot in the Pennsylvania Building on 19th Street in the Strip allowed them to keep good beer pouring in one of Pittsburgh’s most frequented shopping districts.
- Thursday: 11:00am – 8:00pm
- Friday: 11:00am – 10:00pm
- Saturday: 9:00am – 10:00pm
- Sunday: 9:00am – 8:00pm
East End has decided to place the emphasis on fresh, local beer; meaning there will not be any food on-site. However, the Strip District is booming with culinary greatness and provides many options for BYOF, or Bring Your Own Food if you’re not into the whole brevity thing. East End is also planning on partnering with Eliza Bowman from Prohibition Pastries (formerly known as Eliza’s Oven) to bring you a Sunday Beer Brunch every week once things are up and running. More information on that as it develops.
