City Works Now Open in Market Square

Pittsburgh’s craft beer scene continues to build momentum as more destinations set up shop in our fair city. The latest to open their doors for operation was City Works Eatery & Pour House located at 2 PPG Place in Market Square Downtown Pittsburgh. This spacious new craft beer bar follows the model of delivering quality craft beer in mass abundance, featuring 90 taps of beers from local, regional, and national breweries.

City Works’ convenient Downtown location sets them up to be a great stop for lunch, before or after shows at the theaters, a casual drink after work during Happy Hour, or a late night dinner.

City Works kicked things off with a successful opening during one of Pittsburgh’s busiest party days of the year: Parade Day this past Saturday. What a way to make a first impression! Patrons were welcomed by much-needed warmth from Mother Nature’s typical St. Patrick’s Day party tundra and a wide variety of craft beers as far as the eye can see. The draft list is well-curated, offering a variety of well-known staples alongside some off-the-wall beers that keeps the lineup diverse and interesting.

The brand new Pittsburgh spot is the fourth in the City Works family, with other locations operating in Minneapolis MN, King of Prussia PA, and Doral FL. They are also scheduled to open new locations in Frisco and Clearfolk, TX in the near future.
