Caliente’s Newest Location in the South Hills Opens Friday Night
So, when 10 of the busiest, craziest days of the year at two of the hottest craft beer destinations in Pittsburgh comes to an end, what would you do? Sleep in, take a vacation, or kick back and enjoy the spoils of a hard week’s work, right?
Not Caliente. They host killer events throughout Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week, then immediately go to work expanding their operations.
“Our 31st event of Beer Week is going to be opening a new store,” owner Nick Bogacz recently said on an episode of the Over a Couple of Beers Podcast.
No rest of the weary.
In true Bar Rescue form, Nick, his wife Angie, and the Caliente crew went to work gutting the former Pub & Pizza in Mt. Lebanon on Castle Shannon Blvd. and, in just four days, turned it into the newest Caliente destination that will be open for business TONIGHT, April 29th, starting at 4:30pm.
Citizens of Mount Lebanon and the surrounding neighborhoods who’ve never ventured to either of Caliente’s other two locations in Bloomfield or Hampton Township are in for one helluva treat. Unique beer selection is always at the forefront of their tap rotation and their pizza is some of the best in town. Recently, they captured the title of Best Pan Pizza in the World at the International Pizza Expo in Las Vegas! So…yeah, something tells me these guys are going to be busy this weekend.
The newest Caliente Pizza & Draft House is located at 329 Castle Shannon Blvd. in Mt. Lebanon, just a short block away from Hitchhiker Brewing.
