This past weekend, the 2016 World Beer Cup took place in Philadelphia as the annual Craft Brewers Conference wrapped up another successful week of fun, education, collaboration, and networking among professionals making this industry tick. Almost 6,600 beer entries from a total of 55 countries were featured in this epic competition, dubbed the “Olympics” of Beer. Roundabout brought some glory back to the Steel City as their Heini’s Good Cheer captured a Silver Medal in the Old Ale or Strong Ale category. Heini’s Good Cheer was among 55 beers submitted for that particular category.

The Brewers Association released the full results of the competition, which you can view here.

Roundabout beers have gained some serious notoriety in Pittsburgh’s craft beer circle thanks to the tireless efforts of owners Steve and Dyana Sloan and the rest of their crew. This victory is yet another example of the outstanding quality of product available here in Pittsburgh and proof that our city belongs in the discussion regarding America’s greatest craft beer hotspots.

Now, five of these tremendous beers will be showcased with some amazing food as Roundabout and Breakneck pull out all the stops to bring you a memorable evening on May 24th. No tickets are being sold to this event, however you do need to make reservations. Call 724-625-9150 as soon as possible to reserve your seat as they are certain to fill up fast!
