Celebrate All Things Local at Bocktown’s Localfest 2015!

If you haven’t been to Bocktown Beer & Grill lately, you’ve been missing out on a lot. Solid beer, killer food, and an environment conducive to craft beer knowledge, love, and appreciation. In addition, Bocktown’s devotion to embracing the ideals of “local flavor” are second to none. And this entire week at Bocktown, that local love is on display during Localfest 2015!

Bocktown is a locally owned establishment that works with area breweries, vendors, farms, and people to bring you a unique and fresh dining experience. They cook with “Pittsburgh Pride,” using great quality Pennsylvania products 365 days a year. In fact, the Pennsylvania Association of Sustainable Agriculture (PASA) recently highlighted Bocktown’s commitment to local farmers:

Bocktown Localfest“Bocktown was born from a passion for people and the ambition to build a business around authentic relationships. From the partnerships that deliver better tasting ingredients to the community created by patrons who loyally return for the famous hot sausage meatballs washed down with one of more than 30 different locally-brewed beers, the ability to trace your meal to a nearby grower or maker is what Bocktown is all about.”

This week kicks off the 7th annual Localfest, a tried and true Celebration of Here! All throughout this week, you have the opportunity to experience the local excellence that comprises the Pittsburgh region.

Localfest features:

– A week-long regional tap takeover

– Locally-sourced menu items

– Special tasting events with Hop Farm Brewing, Rock Bottom, and the soon-to-open Reclamation Brewing in Butler

– Farm Stand Days with Conover Organic Farm, Beaver Falls Coffee and Tea, and Fellowship Foods

– Artists’ Market with Spooky Kelly Designs, Abe Bevilacqua Prints, and Josh Tarquinio Photography

– “Beer Lover’s Mid-Atlantic” Book Signing with author Bryan J. Kolesar

– Live indie music from Jeff DeSantis and Richard Schiemer

Bocktown is truly proud and thankful to have such incredible people in our community and welcomes you to meet them throughout this week and hear their stories. As always, you can support these great businesses and people by supporting Bocktown and the local craft beer community!
