Breaking Brews Recognized as a Top 100 Beer Blog

I launched Breaking Brews in February of 2014 with the mission of providing fun, informative, educational content to new and experienced beer drinkers alike. It was designed to be an online destination that spread the word of craft beer’s growth while disproving the theory of beer snobbery and showing beer drinkers the product so many people tirelessly work to master is simply a better alternative than something forced down your throat via constant advertising. Breaking Brews has picked up a great following over the past 2.5 years and, today, I’m proud to say we’ve earned a piece of recognition for all the effort.

Top 100 Beer BlogsI woke today to learn that Breaking Brews has been listed by Feedspot as one of the Top 100 Beer Blogs on the web. I perused the list and discovered Breaking Brews to be part of a great list of websites, many of which I read on a consistent basis. Now, I’ve learned about a couple more I plan to check out as well.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for helping make Breaking Brews what it is today. Since the launch of my blog, the craft beer landscape, both in Pittsburgh and across the globe, has evolved significantly and I can’t begin to explain how exciting it is to be part of said evolution. I’ve watched many new breweries join the mix, many bars adopt solid craft beer programs, countless new brands enter our market, and hundreds and hundreds of people just like you develop an appreciation for artisanal beers. In addition, I’ve met and witnessed countless individuals working their asses off to make craft beer stand out throughout our region and beyond.

If you’ve taken the time to read any posts on Breaking Brews, share what you’ve liked, tell your friends about the site, or contribute content for others to consume, THANK YOU. There are no words I can say to express my gratitude for your role in the Breaking Brews mission. This thing wouldn’t be a thing without your help and support!

Breaking Brews and the Pittsburgh Craft Beer Network are not just websites or apps. They are communities that connect real people and real businesses. I am happy to play a small role in craft beer’s success and am even more proud of the progression we’ve experienced in Pittsburgh. I look forward to more growth and success as more brands, breweries, and enthusiasts join us in this ongoing craft beer renaissance.
