BEYOND BREWTAL: Get Stoked For This Year’s Collaboration Beer Lineup

Beyond Brewtal is an up close and personal look at Pittsburgh’s premier craft beer and heavy metal festival. This year’s event is presented by Zippo, features Baroness, and takes place Saturday, September 9th at Mr. Smalls Theater. This weekly series on Breaking Brews leading up to Brewtal will get you more familiar with what’s happening with the event and get you primed to attend. This is your backstage pass, if you will.

Brewtal Beer Fest’s Collaboration Beers

Brewtal Beer Fest is less than three weeks away and it’s time to officially get amped for this one-of-a-kind, kick-ass festival sponsored by Zippo and featuring Baroness headlining the main stage. It will be a day of heart-pounding, guitar-shredding metal music paired with some of the best beers from local, regional, and national breweries alike.

One of coolest aspects of the event are the collaboration beers. As they did last year, each band you’ll hear performing at Brewtal teamed up with a brewery to create a one-off beers that will only be featured at the fest. The collaboration experience gives each band a true glimpse “behind the curtain” of what brewers do every day and allows them to officially put their name on a creation you, me, and everyone else in attendance on September 9th will be sipping.
