99 Bottles Celebrating Five Year Anniversary All March Long

99-sign-outsideFive years ago, Carnegie’s craft beer game leveled up when 99 Bottles came to town and set up shop in the heart of the neighborhood on Washington Avenue. Their initial intention was to proceed as being a small, grab-and-go six pack shop, but Carnegie would have none of it. Residents around the area didn’t just want to grab some beers and head out…they wanted to stick around and enjoy a couple of beers on-site.

As things progressed, 99 Bottles became more than just a bottle shop. In addition to their extensive bottle selection, they feature 30 beers on tap with a strong emphasis on the thriving Pittsburgh scene. They’re also home to a full-scale kitchen and boast some of the best smoked wings in town.

Throughout March, 99 Bottles is celebrating five years of craft beer excellence in Carnegie by bringing you fun events all month long. Things kicked off last night with a tapping of Glove Dropper Blood Orange IPA, the collaboration/confrontation beer brewed by Rivertowne Brewing and Sly Fox Beer in honor this past weekend’s Stadium Series clash between the Penguins and Flyers. In case you missed it, the Pens secured two more points and notched a W by the final score of 4-2.

The rest of the month shapes up as follows:
